The light is installed about 10 feet above a sidewalk, and the motion sensor does not activate the (bright) light until an approaching person is almost directly under the fixture. I have other such motion sensor lights that have a lateral range of 10 feet or more, but this one is a big disappointment. ### ⭐⭐ Not What I Expected *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2020* The Sea of Coast light has a LED was not exactly what I thought it would be. The light as shown in attached photo has two sets of 3-Dimmer LED lights on either side of a brighter LED light in the middle. All of the dimmer LED lights are meant to turn on and stay on from dusk till dawn. Like the dimmer lights, the brighter light in the center will only come on when motion is sensed between dusk till dawn. The major problem that I had was that the battery would not last all night because the dimmer LED lights would ware down the battery. Also, the motion sensor was not as sensitive as I would have liked. It did not pick up motion until 16feet away. I was looking for a security light that would detect motion from further away, being that the unit is meant for the outside. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seem to be well made *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2019* Have had these for a few months now. We live on the coast with constant wind and at times driving rain and so far these have held up well. We did remove them (easily done), for hurricane Dorian, because we just didn't know if they could take that kind of wind. They put out a decent amount of light when motion activated. Not super bright, but it does light up a small area well.
