They are really nice cards. **Q: are they paper cards** A: hi..dont really know how to answer. For 5.00 I found this to be a really nice deck of cards. I have no complaints..they are nice to handle and the color green is easy on the eyes and attractive. I suppose if they get a little spill and wipe them immediately they would be ok.
