Review: Good n bad - Good for adults but not good for beginners. Colour atractive Review: The best preschool pencils you could ever by your child! - My 3 year old was having issues holding a pencil even with a pencil grip. I bought her Ticonderogas “My first TriWrite pencil” it worked like a charm she no longer struggles to hold a pencil and loves learning to write! It immediately gave her confidence. We moved onto the Ticonderoga Beginners Pencils and My First Pencil and she loves them all! They are Thick, Durable, lead is very dark when written with, and kids love them. I have a box to her preschool class and the teachers absolutely loved the fact that the kids in class no longer have a hard time gripping a pencil properly and they love writing. I highly recommend all 3 of these pencil products including the Ticonderoga Erasers. My little one loves them and they promote motor and development skills! ## Features - The perfect oversized beginner pencil - Larger round size and smooth outer casing make it easier for little hands to hold - Assists children in early stages of writing development - Classic yellow barrel, black core writing with extra large, latex-free erasers - Earn supplies - Visit the Prang Power website for program information ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001G9G6XY | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #736,288 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #1,181 in Wooden Pencils | | Body Shape | Round | | Brand | Ticonderoga | | Brand Name | Ticonderoga | | Closure Type | Twist | | Colour | yellow | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 25,329 Reviews | | Drill Point | thick | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00072067333094, 00787543708258 | | Grip Type | Smooth | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Ink Colour | Black | | Item Dimensions | 22.9 x 9 x 0.6 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 0.12 Pounds | | Line Size | 0.5mm | | Manufacturer | 0 | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Name | Ticonderoga 2 | | Model number | 33309 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Writing | | Special Features | Pre-Sharpened | | UPC | 787543708258 682858174531 343538080572 780411937446 072067333094 682858174517 343538159827 599039325258 700761031441 | | Unit Count | 4 Count | | Writing Instrument Form | Graphite Pencil | | Writing Technique | pencil lead | | Writing instrument form | Graphite Pencil | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ticonderoga - **Writing instrument form:** Graphite Pencil - **Colour:** yellow - **Ink Colour:** Black - **Age Range (Description):** Adult ## Images ![Dixon Ticonderoga 2 Beginner Pencils, Pre-Sharpened, with Bonus Sharpener (Yellow, Primary Size) (33309) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81EyJ7K3OgL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does a sharpener come with?** A: This package does not come with a sharpener. **Q: What is the diameter of the pencil?** A: about 3/8, but other great feasire is the soft lead for use in woodworking. grandkids love them and so does grandpa **Q: Is there a sharperner included in the box for these "fat" pencils?** A: Sharpener not included **Q: What does the HB stand for?** A: Its the strength of the lead. But they are also great for people with problematic joints in the hand such as arthritis, swollen joints and the like, much easy to grip and hold on to. They last a long time too as the lead is thicker it doesn’t break as easily. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ticonderoga My First Pencils, Wood-Cased #2 HB Soft, Pre-Sharpened with Eraser, Includes Bonus Sharpener, Yellow, 5 Piece (Pack of 1)(33309) - Ticonderoga Wood-Cased Pencils, Unsharpened, 2 HB Soft, Yellow, 12 Count - Helix Oxford Twin Pack of Erasers, Oxford Blue, Large --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/114817191-dixon-ticonderoga-2-beginner-pencils-pre-sharpened-with-bonus-sharpener](https://www.desertcart.at/products/114817191-dixon-ticonderoga-2-beginner-pencils-pre-sharpened-with-bonus-sharpener) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
