I use it on a trolley. It is a good bag with several pockets. Very nice bag and I like it. Also smart colour (red) looks good on the course. PB **Q: how does the umbrella holder work?** A: You simply place your umbrella through the pull cord ring and the spike point of the umbrella goes into a sleeve at the bottom of the bag, and you pull the ring into it's tight which locks and holds umbrella firmly into place, to release you push on the ball lock that's on the cord ring that loosens the cord and allows you to pull the umbrella out. Regards **Q: Does this bag have a carry strap for off trolley use ?** A: Yes it has one strap on the bag so can be carried but no stands. **Q: does this bag help with club chatter on the course?** A: By "Club Chatter" I assume you mean the heads of clubs knocking together as you move them on a trolley.
