We have had women wear the smaller men's sizes (if they have a somewhat wider foot.) If this is what you are looking to do, please make sure to adjust your male/female sizing correctly. Ex: a women's size 11 would be a men's size 9 or vice versa. What size sandle should I get?** A: I think it depends on where your foot is widest in relation to the straps. My mom and I just bought these today at the store so we tried them on. I am an 8.5 medium width and sized down to an 8. My mom is an 8.5W and she had to size up to a 9 (the 8 was definitely too tight on her). They fit her great but are snug (not in a bad way, just snugly secure). In the styles with thinner straps I had to size up to a 9 and she had to size up to a 10. I have heard that they do stretch a little bit with wear. **Q: I wear a womens 9W. I looked at reviews and opted for a size 7 which I usually am fine with. They are just too neat and I think my feet which are quite wide will eventually spill over the side. I'm really dissapointed as they do feel comfortable and I'm pretty sure a size 8 will be too big , a pity there's no half sizes.
