I already had a propane line at a rental house so I converted a wood burning fireplace over to gas. Easy installation once the propane line was moved over to the fireplace. The gas log set itself is great. Its looks to be of good quality including the logs themselves and the burner set up. Everything works and looks great. My only complaint is that there is a misspelling on the pilot light knob. In big white letters is says "POLIT". Ill probably scratch all the letters off except the "P" to fix this but this really should have been caught before it made it into production even if it was manufactured overseas. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice ambiance! *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2020* Relatively easy to install. Gives off quite a bit of heat but haven't actually had it on very long. I did have to remove the decorative mantel wreath you see in the pic b/c it was getting too warm and I feared a fire. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good for the heat, sub-par design *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2021* The fit of the cement sticks is poor, encouraging fiddling by certain members of my family. This basically ensures that they won't be where they're supposed to be, and will probably fall on the burner.That said, if you stop worrying about the aesthetics, it works well, and was relatively easy to plumb to our propane line. (My son works in HVAC, so that was helpful.) It lights easily, and burns well.
