As a self proclaimed Excel "power-user" I was surprised about how much they taught me. These books are not "Excel for dummies" they're for professionals who are serious about becoming more efficient at their work. What I found especially helpful is that the author not only talks about Excel functionality, but gives practical examples of how to apply Excel features.As with any instructional book the content is only valuable if its teaching you something new. While I was already aware of some Excel features discussed in the book, there was more than enough "best practice" tips and advanced functionality I was unaware of to make it worth while the read.
