There is salylic acid in the "night" treatment, so avoid UV if your face can't handle SPF lotion. Mine can't, so I use Neutrogena sensitive face moisturizer and wear visors or wide brimmed hats and avoid the sun during treatment. I only need to use it about 1 or 2 times a month for 3 days if I have a break out. I can usually pre-empt a breakout with 1 night's treatment if I see a few bumps begin.
