## Overview

The Res Care Easy Feeder Starter Kit is a professional-grade continuous water softener resin cleaning system that automatically dispenses a liquid cleaner to remove iron, manganese, and mineral buildup. ## Description

You'll enjoy cleaner, crisper water without metallic smells or tastes when you clean your water softener with Res Care liquid water softener cleaner. With 99% of water softening occurring inside the resin beads, you need a powerful, reliable cleaning partner to keep resin clean and your water softener functioning at maximum levels. Res Care is formulated to restore fouled resin beds and eliminate mineral deposits and other contaminants in your water softener through a simple, continuous drip with the Easy Feeder non-electronic continuous feed system. Fouled resin beds can keep your water softener from performing properly, leaving you with discolored water filled with impurities. Res Care is designed to clear the softener of contaminants that salt alone fails to remove. Using resin cleaner also increases the lifespan and efficiency of your water softening system. When you add easy-to-use Res Care to the brine tank daily with the Easy Feeder system, you can prevent the buildup of contaminants that coat the resin beads causing inefficiencies, and in some cases, total failure of your softener. The water treatment specialists at Pro Products offer a wide range of solutions that focus on rectifying problems, testing, cleaning stains, and maintaining the performance of water quality equipment.

Review: Results I didn't expect! - This stuff is a money saver! My well water has sulfur and is hard. The water softener is 16 years old. Over the past few years, I have noticed rust stains on some surfaces. I had the water tested and it now contains iron also. Both companies that tested the water, wanted to sell me an iron remover unit to the tune of $1700! I stumbled upon this product while searching Google. I ordered a bottle. What did I have to lose? I ran my 16 year old water softener through 2 cycles back to back two consecutive days. I cleaned all the rust stains in the toilet, sinks, shower and washing machine. It's been months since I've started using this and no rust stains! I am sold and will continue using this forever. Thank you Pro Products for this incredible product.
Review: Simple to Install and Maintain - Bought this on the recommendation of my water softener installer as the better alternative to using the other iron-out solutions which actually only work properly if dissolved and poured into the brine tube at the time of regeneration and as the kids say, "ain't nobody got time for that". Drill the few holes (I drilled holes in salt tank much smaller than the 1/4" size specified in the instructions), install the bracket (works like a peg-board hook), attach the wick tube, and you're done. System delivers the solution automatically via the drip tube into the brine tube so that it's available when the system regenerates in the middle of the night. You can buy refill solution in gallon bottles and keep it next to the brine tank. Whenever you check your salt level, you can peak at the supply bottle and, when needed, refill it from the gallon jug. The drip rate for the kit I purchased is one ounce per day so it should go 2 months before the feed bottle is empty.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple to Install and Maintain
*by J***I on December 28, 2018*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to install
*by K***O on March 13, 2015*

This kit has everything you need. It is easy to install and works just the way the directions say it is supposed to. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have no idea if it really doing anything. Honestly I can't really tell any difference in the water quality. But it makes me feel good to think I am providing proper maintenance and extending the life of my water softener.
