Review: Offers an excellent grip and support to my crossbar/poles lightning setup - I’ve purchased 2 Double Super Clamps to adjust the lightning setup in my studio. I’ve been using them for several weeks, before writing this review. It might sound obvious, but this dual Super Clamp offers an excellent grip. Currently, my lightning setup includes an adjustable IKEA curtain crossbar and two Manfrotto AutoPole 2 poles. Before I purchased the Dual Super Clamp, I've been using an improvised solution to attach between them - but the crossbar couldn’t carry the weight. Finally, I got 2 units of the Manfrotto Dual Super Clamp, and my life changed for the best - the crossbar is safe in its place, no unwanted movement and copes well with the weight of the equipment I load on it, without rotating. Each Super Clamp has it's own wedge insert. Thus, you can attach the Dual Super Clamp to more than just rounded tubes. Also, since this Dual Super Clamp is consisted of 2 Super Clamps, each of them has a socket to fit a stud into it. This gives added value to the Dual Super Clamp, that is mainly used to attach 2 tubes/crossbars to each other. I wish though, that Manfrotto would include at least 1 stud with it, because it’s not included in the package. Extending a clamp too much will cause the nut (and other parts) to fall out of their place - I keep wondering why no one applies a solution to prevent from the nut to release from its place when it reaches the max width. Overall, if you have a lightning setup/background support kit that involves a crossbar and 2 vertical poles, I strongly advise you to consider this Dual Super Clamp.
