Not totally sure about photos but the feeder handles 50 sheets of standard paper so I would imagine photos would depend on how thick they are. It is truly a fantastic scanner and one of the best I have ever used. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks! **Q: Is the included software a trial version or full license?** A: the software they send it antiquated ---- truly worthless - if I were you I would consider another product.... if these guys cannot put a software that meets today's standard of operation - they should go into a different business - do not waste your time with this product - pay a little more and get a real photo-scanner **Q: What is the width and length of the documents it will scan? Both sides? And Widows?** A: It will scan up to 8.5x14 and can scan mixed documents with different widths (i.e. stack of invoices and checks) all at once. It does scan double sided by it'self. Unsure what you mean by "widows" but the machine and the software we were using ended up not working well together. Scanned documents ended up not transmitting to the software after only about 5-6 months having the machine. We also have to clean it every day to ensure it will pull paper properly. Takes more that one page at a time skips some. WIA driver needs to be reinstalled from a CD almost every time it is not used for a day or two and will not be discoverable by the computer otherwise. I am giving it a little more time and if that does not improve.
