Review: Not for children, at all - I originally saw this on a cable channel and though the violence and language was in it, I could tell something had been cut out. After watching this version, it turns out the scenes cut were (no spoilers) hardcore porn between Mezzo and different people. Great movie, just be warned: This goes much farther than typical fan service.
Review: Has even more x-rated content than KITE - This is GREAT anime. I watched a censored version on YOUTUBE and it is quite effective even with the sex scenes cut out. Even so-this is the full on hentai edition and it delivers. BIG TIME.

Definitely not for kids but a big yes for adults, much like Kite (1998) Mezzo Forte has great animation, action, humor and sex appeal for mature viewers. Though I do think the story is a little better & much more "light hearted" than Kite.
