HALL DULCIMER NOTERS Hall dulcimer noters are made of borosylicate glass (Pyrex) with beautiful kiln-fired Celtic decorations. Glass noters produce a unique hammered sound and have a "fast" action compared to wooden noters. Glass noters produce a bright sound and you hear distinctive sliding tones. They are not quiet and not meant to replace your wooden noters. Absolutely beautiful noter!!! Definitely as describedIt gives a different sound to my dulcimer when using this noter. Excellent noter sound is definitely louder with more of a twang sound than without, packaging was very well too only! I wish it were a little cheaper or even offered free shipping, as I'm not a "Amazon prime member," but I went ahead knowing I probably will have this awhile. Otherwise a very strong and beautifully made noter!! Thank you

My first pyrex noter fell out of my bag and shattered so I ordered a new one, this time with a lovely design. It slides easily along the strings and creates a different sound effect to the wood noter or your finger. Very fast shipping service!
