Code "134 LED" error is either the motherboard or LED printhead. Out of warranty cost is $252 for them just to look at but you have to ship it back to them at your cost. It costs new $250 on Amazon, so since it's out of warranty, it's now a 30 lb. paperweight. Even when working the print quality was just okay. The print drivers were also nothing to write home about (difficult to install and limited options/features). Also the drum unit seems to wear out quickly.Would not buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oki B431DN - Great Printer! *by R***R on April 23, 2013* I have had this Oki printer for about a month now, and it has exceeded my expectations. I had a $300 color printer before (another brand, not going back there), and decided that I really didn't use or need color that much...if I did, I'd go for a higher-end professional model of some sort. Color adds complexity, size, and expense. My needs are for business Enter the Oki.This printer is fast. From a dead start, I can't even walk over to the printer before it starts shooting out print jobs. Print quality is excellent. For business needs, it's all you could ever want. It hooks up to the network painlessly, very smooth in that regard (btw, beware of sites which advertise this as a wireless printer....it isn't). Do yourself a favor and hardwire yourself to the router...if you study the market, you'll see you can get a better value that way than spending money on wireless (unless your REALLY need it).This printer meets my needs and more and exceeds my expectations, at a reasonable price. What more could I ask? ### ⭐⭐⭐ For tech savvy users only *by P***S on January 4, 2014* If you're running 64-bit Windows 7 or later, chances are you're going to have a difficult time installing this printer. I don't have a computer science degree, but I can normally figure out most problems without resorting to tech support. With the help of some forum advice I figured this one out. It took about two hours in total, including several downloads and abortive installation deletions. First of all the installation CD was useless. The installation software refused to fully load, so the buttons had no names, the radio buttons had no names, and I couldn't see the dialog boxes. I tried manual driver installation, but the drivers were incompatible. Each time, I deleted the previous installation files. Then I went to the clunky Oki Data website. This provides vaguely-named driver update files that state they are compatible with Windows 7, but the Windows Compatibility Tester says XP SP2. Maybe that's why the archive extractors for these files wouldn't work. Finally I was able to extract the driver files using an old laptop, and access the .inf file through my local network.Finally I got the printer working. So far it seems to work very well, delivering high quality print-outs at a rapid rate. I love the auto-duplexing at this price, and if it stays good I might bump it up to a four-star sometime in the future. But probably not.Here's the thing: A lot of people I know wouldn't have been able to get this printer working on their computer.
