## Description

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 title will mark a new beginning for the popular series, with an all-new engine allowing for the most comprehensive advance for the Pro Evolution Soccer series since its inception. The new engine has been in development for a number of years and uses Kojima Production's renowned FOX Engine at its core, extended and enhanced to match the bespoke and complex demands of a football title. Based on six gameplay tenants, the new system allows every aspect of Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 to be totally reworked. Throwing off previous limitations imposed by dated animation systems and AI elements, the engine has enabled the PES Productions team to produce a game much closer to the excitement and variety of a top-level match. The central theme of fluidity is based on the constant moving of players and switching positions which mirrors the modern approach to football. Producers looked at how the matches ebb and flow, with player individuality key to a team's success, and well-drilled tactics helping underdogs produce giant-killing feats. Working from the ground up, the team has reworked every element of play, creating a fresh and energetic new standard for football titles. In addition to noticeably improved graphics and seamless animation, the thrust of the new engine's power has been used to redefine the way football is played on a gaming console. Gone are the limitations imposed by dated animation systems and AI elements, and instead PES 2014 boasts a central core that perfectly mimics the skill and awareness that elevates the world's greatest players above their peers.

Review: The true unbiased review - Well, first of all, i want to say that i bought the game a few weeks ago, i didn't have access to the game when it was released, it seems the patches and the updates have fixed most of the problems that plagued the release version. I have played almost every iteration of this title since its release for the PSOne back in 1995/1996, name it "Goal Storm", "International Superstar Soccer - Pro Revolution", "ESPN MLS GameNight", "World Soccer Winning Eleven", "Pro Evolution Soccer" in the different platforms. This year iteration is totally different than last year's PES 2013, in fact, it feels like a different game; PES 2014 is more realistic/simulation (this time is harder to score 5 or 6 goals) than "arcadey"; you need to pass the ball carefully, press the direction pad in the intended direction and you also need to be careful when you receive the ball, aka control the ball; the FOX engine is a great addition and the game looks better than ever, you have a wide selection of shoes and balls (all are licensed); the players look great, Ronaldo looks and moves like his real counterpart, and the same thing can be said about others like Messi, Rooney, Bale, Xavi, Pique, Ramos, etc. The last update named "World Challenge" added a nice selection of shoes, the World Cup official ball, also improved some of the players faces, now Falcao looks like Falcao, James Rodriguez like James Rodriguez, etc, Brazil National Team is fully licensed, updated team rosters and uniforms, etc. In spite of the bad press that this game has received, it plays really smooth and fluent, the players move like real players and the animations are amazing; specially during the fouls, free kicks, corner kicks, celebrations, etc; i also want to highlight the ball physics, it is very realistic. There is a nice and wide Edit Mode where you can create your own teams and players, or edit the uniforms and names of the teams that are not licensed. There are enough gameplay modes to keep you busy and entertained, like UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores, etc. Some leagues are fully licensed now, like the Argentinian, Dutch, Chilenian, etc; commentary in different languages: English (British), French, Portuguese (Brazil), Castellano (Mexico, Chile, Argentina), i want to highlight the Argentinian commentary by Mariano Closs and Fernando Niembro, probably the best in Fox Soccer Latinoamerica, it adds a plus factor to the experience and it's so close to the real thing. When it comes to gameplay, it seems the goalies can save long distance shots better than close range shots; some times it looks like the defenders run faster than the strikers, so you will have to rely on "Tiki-Taka", accurate moving and passing/ball possession, FC Barcelona & Spain National Team style; there are plenty of strategies and also a Training mode where you can master the game basics. Like i said before, i have played the game for a few weeks and i have found hard to score a "header", the soundtrack is nice, cool and the Menus are easy to navigate, probably very simple. I haven't played my first online match yet so i really can not review it; i would recommend this game to everyone, even to people who don't like, enjoy soccer games, it is very fun and entertaining and you will not go wrong with this one; buy it.
Review: GREAT GAME - its really diferent from the older vercions but different is not bad, mariano closs and fernando niembro are great and give a little extra to the game, you will be frustraded but it wll probide hundreds if hours of fun, intenet is not laggy at all and game runs smoothly, i read a lot of bad reviews but my advise is that if you REALLY love futbol then this game will be perfcet, mi friands hate it i love it

## Features
