Ironically the original part was not really broken (we ended up needing a different part to fix the washer back in March) however since we had this new part and because the washer was already apart, we decided to install it anyway. Less than five months later, our washer was making a horrible clicking noise because the lever was stuck and would not move. The washer would not agitate or spin. We put the old part back on and our washer is running perfectly.
