That said, I have no idea if this product contains any other animal products. **Q: After using it as a chewing gum, can you reuse the same piece for weeks/forever? Is this considered unsanitary/unsafe as it may harbour germs after?** A: You absolutely can reuse the gum. Originally I picked out a medium size drop which was decent to chew. The taste is very strong but after a few times chewing it, it will become fairly neutral. Eventually I added more to that same wad and store it in a small container with mouthwash after each use. **Q: is this product organic?** A: What I know that it is a natural product not processed. It is sorted for sizes. As for what kind of firtliz they use? I can't say. Gives your jaw a workout. *by B***Y on 22 December 2015* Good stuff. Very nice to chew and it gives your jaw a real workout! I got this shipped to me about two and a half weeks or three weeks after ordering it. It smells kind of like some kind of roots that would be used in chinese medicine and tastes like it came from some kind of tree, which it did. 100 grams will almost fill (3/4) an 8oz mason jar. The texture is very gummy you can chew a normal size piece for about 6 hours until it disintegrates. Also some pieces are harder than other and also harder to chew. I chewed two large pieces of mastic for about 9 hours the first day i got it and i could feel my jaw was quite sore. Its somewhat addicting to chew so now after chewing it for three days straight it really hurts to chew food, but i may chew more again today. It also seems to have some effects on the digestive system as i had diharrhea the day i chewed two pretty large pieces until they disintegrated and then i swallowed them. The taste is pretty nice actually and the texture is very gummy, it's almost indistiguisgable from a gum you would buy at the store except its on the harder side. Overall, 5 stars! very nice and a very pleasurable experience to chew it. Im looking forward to seeing what else this gum can be used for as well!!!! Update: After chewing this stuff for two months I've used about half and I have also burned some as incense, which I would only recommend if you like the taste of this gum as it smells pretty much the same when burned. I have noticed that my jaw has gotten quite a bit stronger as I can chew through one normal size piece (about 1-2 sticks of standard gum) in about 4-7 hours without my jaw getting very tired. Also, I've noticed when shaving that it is harder to get around the edge of my jawline than before and when I clench my teeth I can also see the muscles in my face are more defined and protrude more.
