Review: Sena Is A Superior Headset for Half Helmets - The Sena Bluetooth Headsets and Intercom are fantastic. Wind noise even with the half helmet is negligible. The Sena controls are instinctive and very easy to use. I paired two headsets, a Tom Tom GPS, and a SamSung phone in minutes and without an issue. The only problem occured after an initial days use. My spouse's headset would not charge and would not turn on after what should have been sufficient time to fully recharge. I read directions in the manual and performed a "hard" reset using a paperclip tip. The headset immediately came back to life and did not require relinking with my headset. Since that initial reset, it has charged and performed without issues. I was reluctant to purchase the Sena because I had been a Cardio user. The Sena is superior in every way other than distance between intercoms. The Sena is completely line of sight and only reaches about 800-900 yards max. My old Cardio would work close in on hills and curves and in line of site would go out at least a mile. Having said that, The Sena is easier to set up, easier to use, Controls can be operated wearing gloves. Even the FM tuner works well.

Great sound and volume even on an open face helmet and a Harley at 60mph. I called my daughter shortly after I installed the Sena and she didn't believe me when I told her I was on the bike. Noise canceling works great! Installation is easy. My only complaint is the instructions could have been a little clearer on how to disconnect the main Sena unit from the wire/connector. There is a small cover that also locks the connector to the main unit and it hinges away (not toward) the Sena. I started prying the wrong way (glad I didn't break it). Eventually figured out my mistake after watching a video online. Speakers work well for their size. Yes a little "tinny" but that's to be expected. If you want booming bass get a pair of external speakers. Control knob takes some getting used to as there are multiple functions. But once you get the hang of it, it is very intuitive. Pairs flawlessly to my phone and a Sena SR10 (for mobile ham radio). Note: read the instructions on multi point pairing! I failed to RTM at first and couldn't figure out why my phone only played music when the SR10 was connected.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sena Is A Superior Headset for Half Helmets

The Sena Bluetooth Headsets and Intercom are fantastic. Wind noise even with the half helmet is negligible. The Sena controls are instinctive and very easy to use. I paired two headsets, a Tom Tom GPS, and a SamSung phone in minutes and without an issue. The only problem occured after an initial days use. My spouse's headset would not charge and would not turn on after what should have been sufficient time to fully recharge. I read directions in the manual and performed a "hard" reset using a paperclip tip. The headset immediately came back to life and did not require relinking with my headset. Since that initial reset, it has charged and performed without issues. I was reluctant to purchase the Sena because I had been a Cardio user. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good headset

This headset works great. The charge lasts all day. When talking on the phone you can hear just fine. The other person with the road noise at higher speeds has a difficult time hearing you. Lower speeds not an issue. The ear pieces stay put while riding but do come loose from time to time and must be reattached when taking on and off
