Comes complete with blast deflector, standoff, two-piece 1/8 " launch rod and safety cap. Porta-Pad II can accommodate a 3/16 in. Maxi launch rod (not included). Review: Great for those smaller rockets - This launch pad is perfect for the kids to have their own pad to launch their rockets, with supervision of course. Small and lightweight but plenty strong for A powered rockets. It comes with a 1/8 inch launch rod but will accept the 3/16 for most medium rockets. It comes apart so it’s easy to transport. It is very easy to assemble so you don’t have to spend much time at the launch site setting up. I think it is well worth the price. The launch rod tilts so you can adjust for winds. It is available by itself or with the beam launch controller. I have a controller so I opted for just the pad. Always remember when working with kids, safety first! Review: Good launch pad - Just how I remember them to be at hobby lobby and much cheaper I’ll say too. ## Features - Sturdy, plastic tripod design - Easy to set up and take down - Tilt adjustment up to 30 degrees from vertical - Launch Pad for Standard Engine Powered Rockets - Comes with a 1/8 " launch rod - Can accommodate an Estes 3/16" Maxi Launch Rod (not included) - Assembles quickly and easily, with no glue required - Adult supervision recommended for anyone under 12 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0006NAQ78 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Brand Name | Estes | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 261 Reviews | | Educational Objective | 1 | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00047776022157 | | Included Components | Estes Rockets 2215 Porta-Pad II Model Rocket Launch Pad | | Item Dimensions | 5 x 2 x 16 inches | | Item Type Name | Model Rockets | | Item Weight | 19.87 g | | Manufacturer | Estes Rockets | | Manufacturer Part Number | E2215 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Full One-Year Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 10 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 302215 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Set Name | Estes Model Rocket Launch Pad | | Size | 2 x 5 x 16 inches | | Theme | Model Rocket Kit | | UPC | 047776022157 885917799663 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Estes - **Age Range (Description):** 14 years and up - **Color:** Brown/a - **Theme:** Vehicle - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 5 x 2 x 16 inches ## Images ![302215 Porta-Pad II Launch Pad - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gu6Lb6hjL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for those smaller rockets *by J***Y on February 7, 2026* This launch pad is perfect for the kids to have their own pad to launch their rockets, with supervision of course. Always remember when working with kids, safety first! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good launch pad *by J***N on November 2, 2024* Just how I remember them to be at hobby lobby and much cheaper I’ll say too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional launch platform. *by J***N on May 31, 2017* Porta-Pad II is a straightforward launch small sized platform. I grew up with the Big Foot launch pad, back in the 80's, which was fantastic however sadly it doesn't appear to be available any longer. This particular pad has three legs, removable for transport. Basic blast shield, also removable. Small diameter launch rod that pivots as a unit with the blast shield to if necessary to angle launches away from vertical, and this is secured by a wingnut. Largest launch on this has been a C6-5 powered Big Bertha, and it flew straight and true. I'd like to see it include a larger diameter launch rod, but otherwise no complaints. ## Frequently Bought Together - Estes 302215 Porta-Pad II Launch Pad - Estes 2274 Recovery Wadding - MDL RCKT ENGNS 3PC C6-5 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/1203585-302215-porta-pad-ii-launch-pad](https://www.desertcart.at/products/1203585-302215-porta-pad-ii-launch-pad) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
