**Q: could i paint it before i put it together? i would like it to be a bright color**
A: You would have to sand it first in order to repaint

**Q: does it come assembled?**
A: I ordered the single, not the 2-layer shelf breadbox, but, yes the single comes fully assembled.  The space inside is on the small side for what I wanted it for, but, it looks quite nice on my counter and the roll top works well.

**Q: The photo of the larger unit shows no handle.  Can someone verify that larger one has no handle?**
A: Only small size with handle.Big size and 2 layer bread box without handle.

This is a really large bread box. Well made, a little fiddly to put together but totally worth the patience. It's well made, beautiful, and will be a very sturdy addition to any kitchen. The sliding door works smoothly and the whole thing looks great. The only challenge might be finding the space for it. Really nice addition to my kitchen.

I'm in love...another space saver! This item came on time and free of damages. I started putting this item together alone, but soon realized I needed another set of hands. So worth it in the end, and it's very stury too. I did have to open and close the door a few times to get it use to doing so. It would get stuck a bit at first, but that was an easy fix. I would recommend this item.

### ⭐ The roll-up door is extremely sticky and require two hands to operate.

Construction is decent, not great. Installation wasn't hard, but you need to figure out a few steps left out in the user manual. Returned it because while the roll-up door is a great design that saves a lot of space, it doesn't work that well. First, you need two hands to operate it. One to hold the storage in place, and the other to pull up. That would have been fine if the roll-up door actually roll up without too much resistance. Most of the time, you had to wiggle the door a continuously to keep closing or opening.Save yourself some trouble, get the one with traditional flap door.
