If I didn’t have the necessary needle I might have been perturbed. We plan on using it indoors in the playroom this winter, the ball is soft enough not to damage anything. The ball is really small though. A little larger than a softball. We have a foam soccer ball he also likes to play with. It was really easy to put together. We look forward to taking it outdoors next spring too! I think he will use this for many years to come.
