It does overheat and shut down a bit sooner that I thought but does a really good job. When I opened the package and took out the heavy shredder top it looked good. I removed the black plastic can part and it was cracked all the way through in several places. So I requested a replacement shredder which arrived the next day. This time the smaller box was inside large one. With no visible sign of damage to either box I was hope full the product would be fine, whoever once I took the black plastic can out it was cracked in several places and the front clear pieces was popped out due to the cracks. I really feel that the weight of the shredder motor being packaged inside the thin plastic can is causing the can to crack.
