That was probably wise council, but a good movement holder is absolutely vital. For the longest time I thought having the movement flip out of the holder was just something I had to deal with, given the tools' design, but I couldn't be more wrong. I decided to order this Bergeon after the last movement I was working on flipped upside down and out of the holder making a mess of my project. I looked for a bunch of fixed type movement holders and didn't like the reviews either, so as a last resort, I decided to try a Bergeon first. Wow, what a huge difference. I actually can't tell the difference visually between the Bergeon and the knockoff. Both feel the same, are the same size and look the same, but the Bergeon will hold the movement firmly, while the knockoff can't hold anything.Do yourself a favor and just buy a good holder out of the gate.
