If you are concerned about Chinese made parts, I really don't know what to say other than most auto parts come from China. I also must tell you that the quality of the cap is exceptional, and it has been working well in my Jeep for over a year. I almost paid $30 for a cap from the dealer that contained more plastic than metal, and because the customer service rep made me stand in another line just to check out, so due to frustration, I left. Thanks to the Jeep dealers ridiculous check-out process I saved $25 and got a better quality part. **Q: is this compatible with 2005 jeep wrangler sport/TJ sport?** A: Look at your radiator cap it has a number on it If it matches you should be good. I used on a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee..
