Review: Avevo fatto una precedente recensione ma non la trovo più, quindi pur vedendo che il prodotto non è piu presente, aggiungo la ns. user experience a seguito di acquisto nel maggio 2019: l'aspetto è ottimo ed i materiali, pur convenzionali appaiono di qualità per la classe del prodotto. Copripolvere robusto e peso che farebbe supporre una certa qualità. Purtroppo alla prova con audio parlato o musica, la distorsione è eccessiva, i bassi ingombranti ed invadenti oltre la soglia di tollerabilità e che causa fatica di ascolto dopo poco tempo. Per avere un suono almeno non scandaloso siamo stati costretti a tappare il foro d'accordo reflex posteriore ed aumentare leggermente la manopola dei bassi. Per farvi rendere meglio la situazione, le casse suonano come se mettessimo 2 altoparlanti in una scatola di scarpe. Secondo noi il progetto è errato e gran parte della cattiva qualità deriva non tanto dai trasduttori, impiegati con successo in altri marchi, ma dall'amplificatore in classe D usato da queste Microlab. Dopo poco tempo comunque le abbiamo sostituite con altri 2 speaker acquistati sempre su desertcart, dal costo persino minore ma qualità ben superiore
Review: I bought the bookshelf speaker several months ago for my son that is in K12. Normally, I buy Logitech brand speakers; although; this time I decided to give Microlab brand a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging, quality, design, and audio. Design: The cosmetics of the fine leather and wood corners gives a nice accent on work desks. However, the speakers are a little heavy due to the 4 inch sub-woofers and tweeter. The volume knob on the front of the right speakers turns smoothly. Additionally, the back of the unit supports: audio input, power switch, audio output, treble knob, bass knob, power cable, and ac input juncture. Audio: The audio quality is excellent with smooth and rich sounds. Whereas, the bass is loud and clear and keeps it's richness. While other units have hissing issues at low volumes; the Microlab speakers maintains clear and crisp quality. The Good: Microlab speakers are a great price for the design and audio quality. The design is attractive with leather and wood corners. Audio is superb with smooth and rich sounds. The Bad: Each speaker has stands at the bottom, which causes black marks to appear on the furniture. This could have been prevented if they included foam pad at the bottom of each stand. Overall: The design and audio quality is one of the best that I have bought in this price range.

**Q: how many watts total?**
A: These powered speakers are actually Bi Amped, so there is an amp in each speaker to drive the woofer and an amp in each cabinet to drive the tweeters. Each speaker has an 18 watt amp for the woofer and 14 watt amp for the tweeter, total wattage per speaker would be 32 watts for a total of 64 watts for the pair. **Q: Can these connect to my laptop via a standard 3.5mm headphone jack?**
A: Then WHY doesn’t Microlab state this upfront????  Too hard to ad a single sentence to the description?  Why just say AUX??  That just means auxiliary!!!  As in, external.  My DESKTOP computer does not even have bluetooth, and its a 2 yr old dual processor 32g ram Lenovo d30 workstation!!!  But, like EVERY desktop on the market, going back 30 years, it DOES have a standard 3.5” audio out or line-out, in addition to 3.5” headphone out!!  So does my laptop; but I nor many of your possible customers, would use this at home/office, with my desktop!!  This is a growing trend with ‘puter interface et al descriptions;  let the 80 yr. old office janitor write them instead of a trained expert...

**Q: These speakers are powered.  how?  battery?  ac?  looking for 120 vac / 60 hz (us).  thanks!**

Avevo fatto una precedente recensione ma non la trovo più, quindi pur vedendo che il prodotto non è piu presente, aggiungo la ns. user experience a seguito di acquisto nel maggio 2019: l'aspetto è ottimo ed i materiali, pur convenzionali appaiono di qualità per la classe del prodotto. Copripolvere robusto e peso che farebbe supporre una certa qualità. Purtroppo alla prova con audio parlato o musica, la distorsione è eccessiva, i bassi ingombranti ed invadenti oltre la soglia di tollerabilità e che causa fatica di ascolto dopo poco tempo. Per avere un suono almeno non scandaloso siamo stati costretti a tappare il foro d'accordo reflex posteriore ed aumentare leggermente la manopola dei bassi. Per farvi rendere meglio la situazione, le casse suonano come se mettessimo 2 altoparlanti in una scatola di scarpe. Secondo noi il progetto è errato e gran parte della cattiva qualità deriva non tanto dai trasduttori, impiegati con successo in altri marchi, ma dall'amplificatore in classe D usato da queste Microlab. Dopo poco tempo comunque le abbiamo sostituite con altri 2 speaker acquistati sempre su Amazon, dal costo persino minore ma qualità ben superiore

I bought the bookshelf speaker several months ago for my son that is in K12. Normally, I buy Logitech brand speakers; although; this time I decided to give Microlab brand a try. Estoy cambiando mi opinión de que fue muy positivo a muy negativo porque los altavoces emiten un zumbido digital cuando no están conectados por Bluetooth, es una pena. Mi opinión previa: Espectacular/increíble para el precio He comprado unas altavoces de logitech para ordenador pelo mesmo precio que después de oír esto me apeteció tirar fuera ... Me gusto: Calidad de sonido Volumen de sonido Mucho mejor que un soundbar de 200eur No me gusto : Botones de agudos y graves sin utilidad (no se nota variación) Para rock el sonido no se separa y se vuelve muy confuso hacen un sonido (huumm) muy bajo cuando no están en uso no aconsejo uso en la cabecera de cama pero bien a partir de 3 metros
