Review: Really great unit for mobile and for beginners and experienced DJs who want a mobile setup - I got this unit for two purposes: Beach party, and for a unit to just sit on my desk at work to do music, scan through tracks do basic cue pointing etc. It's nearly perfect for the money. I also own the WeGO4, and overall, I find this unit better (and half the price). What I like about this unit is that the platters feel good, and they feel right. They have the right shape, and work well and easily. The performance 'pads' are buttons not pads, but I actually rather like this for a more rugged setting like the beach where I'm more likely to fat finger things. I like that it has low, mid and hi EQs, which the WeGO4 doesn't. The tempo sliders are a good size, and have an okay feel, not as good as the DDJ1000 or DDJ800, the dead zone around the 0 mark isn't very easy to feel sometimes, and the zone where they slider doesn't produce adjustment is also kind of big relative to the whole slider. What's not to like? Well - the headphone out is accomplished by splitting the stereo output of the computer; which means you're only getting mono out of the headphone jack, and so the overall signal power of the output is 1/2 which leaves the headphones particularly weak. And for me, the biggest missing is the load control on the unit. Every single other DJ unit has a load control, and I think if I could have put one more thing on the unit; it would be this. The performance pads can be switched to different modes from the laptop itself, which isn't awful; but my second wish would be a mode button for the performance pads. It's also missing any loop controls which is a bit of a bummer, but, it's a basic unit, so how much can I expect?! This device also works REALLY well with the iPhone DJ app WeDJ (which works on the iPad also). Really really well. The iPad essentially functions as a Midi controller, and the buttons not present on the controller itself are present in the App, and it's very easy to use this way (maybe even better than with Rekordbox). Did I mention it's very well priced?! if nothing else, this is a great backup controller that you can afford to just throw in a backpack and pull out in an emergency to get you through. Would I recommend this unit: Absolutely, 100%. Buy it, it's fun! Review: Has all the basics you need to start learning - This board is perfect for beginners and those on a budget. Does not have any cord hookups it is only Bluetooth so keep that in mind. You will have to upgrade if you want to do it professionally ## Features - Lightweight and compact with a pro-style layout it’ll help you learn to mix ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07RPW4PSS | | Additional Features | Lightweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #67,681 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #122 in DJ Controllers | | Brand | Pioneer DJ | | Brand Name | Pioneer DJ | | Compatible Devices | Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop, PC | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth, USB | | Connector Type | USB | | Control Method | Touch | | Control Type | DJ Controller | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 3,493 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00841300101499 | | Hardware Interface | Bluetooth | | Hardware Platform | PC/Mac | | Human Interface Input | Buttons, Dial | | Instrument | DJ Controller | | Instrument Key | Any | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 8.19"D x 14.88"W x 1.9"H | | Item Type Name | Smart DJ Controller | | Item Weight | 3.8 pounds | | Keyboard Description | Not Ergonomic | | Manufacturer | DEEJAYLED | | Manufacturer Part Number | DDJ-200 | | Model Name | DDJ-200 Smart DJ Controller | | Model Number | DDJ-200 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Keys | 32 | | Platform | Windows | | Product Dimensions | 8.19"D x 14.88"W x 1.9"H | | Product Style | DDJ-200 | | Special Feature | Lightweight | | Supported Software | WeDJ | | UPC | 841300101499 993328504384 843367127733 | | Unit Count | 1 count | | Warranty Description | 2-year warranty. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Pioneer DJ - **Connectivity Technology:** Bluetooth, USB - **Model Name:** DDJ-200 Smart DJ Controller - **Number of Keys:** 32 - **Special Feature:** Lightweight ## Images ![Pioneer Electronics DDJ-200 2-Channel Smart DJ Controller - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81J-IZ6g24L.jpg) ![Pioneer Electronics DDJ-200 2-Channel Smart DJ Controller - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81LIXomlzlL.jpg) ![Pioneer Electronics DDJ-200 2-Channel Smart DJ Controller - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71S89rqdFBL.jpg) ![Pioneer Electronics DDJ-200 2-Channel Smart DJ Controller - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wSiSCR+cL.jpg) ![Pioneer Electronics DDJ-200 2-Channel Smart DJ Controller - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818TIfRS1ZL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this compatible with the djay app for the iPad?** A: yes it is **Q: If link to spotify, can it increase tempo?** A: The board doesn't connect directly to Spotify; you need to download a DJ app like djay. Then, you can link your Spotify account to the app, then you can change tempo as you like. **Q: Can I use serato on my laptop instead of a mobile device?** A: Technically, you can connect this to Serato, but you will have to manually map the controls and you will be unable to use the integrations with beatport and soundcloud. **Q: Trabaja con virtual dj 7.4?** A: Bien ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really great unit for mobile and for beginners and experienced DJs who want a mobile setup *by A***R on June 27, 2020* I got this unit for two purposes: Beach party, and for a unit to just sit on my desk at work to do music, scan through tracks do basic cue pointing etc. It's nearly perfect for the money.
