Unlike polyester, it feels nice on my skin and can help me stay warm or cool, depending on the weather. I wore my scarf to help move my college aged kid into the dorm the other day (school colors!), and even though it was 100 F it still felt comfortable.I got the maroon color and would just note that it leans a little brownish in the sun. I liked the pattern. It washes well, but I hand wash it with just a drop of delicate laundry soap or baby shampoo. I do not wrinkle or crumple my silk, and I hang it to dry.This scarf came in a gift ready paper envelope with a bow.
