Currently, there are several different versions of Vellux blankets. We've tried a couple of their newer styles, but still prefer the original one. It is suggested to wash these before sleeping on them. Ironically, this blanket actually improves its texture and softness every time it is washed.There is zero fraying, fuzzing or pilling like most other fabrics and the color never fades.
