The phones still worked but the screens were toast so they each got a new J7 Crown and the old one went on the old cell phone pile. I'm a DIY person so I decided to try a screen replacement, at the price there wasn't much to lose.The YouTube www dot youtube dot com slash watch?v=49sCmJyxfCI is an accurate depiction of the removal/installation process. I used a hobby heat gun we already had to heat up the glue to remove the screen. Not sure if I could have done the job without it.The trickiest part was applying the glue to seal the new screen to the phone case. Watch this part of the video a few times, then practice before you start peeling the backing off the glue sheet. The kit could be improved if they provided a 2nd glue sheet in case there are mistakes made.I've been using the phone daily for about a month and the screen seems to be working well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tedious but simple installation *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2019* I have ordered 2 or 3 of these so far, every time my screen breaks. It's a pretty simple process that'll test your patience, but it won't take long... about 10-30 minutes. This last time, I was finally able to get the green plastic off the adhesive on the correct side, which saved a ton of time and frustration. For some reason, the tempered glass cover is too small for the screen it comes with. ### ⭐ Wrong size adhesive sent *by O***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2019* Bought this for my hub's after he broke his screen and as he's replaced a screen for a previous phone he had with a kit from Amazon (aka he has some experience) and it turned out perfect, we decided to order this one for his current phone. The kit comes with an adhesive sticker that is basically your "glue" to attach the screen with, well they sent him the wrong one (adhesive) because it doesn't fit the model we ordered for (yes, the one in the description) and doesn't reach all the edges of the screen! So the whole screen looks a bit like it's floating because all of the edges lift.
