She’s now almost 10.I bought this for my daughter back in 2019. It’s 2022, and it’s still going strong! Nothing has broken on it. Plugs in to charge just fine. As clear as the day we bought it. Just recently I’ve noticed the battery length isn’t as long as it used to be so we’ll have to look at something else eventually but I’m really impressed by this. It’s beat my expectations. Our daughter isn’t rough but she isn’t super careful either and for it to last this long for how cheap it is- that’s what every parent wants. The sound isn’t as low as I’d prefer if I had a younger child with sensitive ears. Unfortunately most of these aren’t. If you’re not careful, fingers can be pinched if you’re adjusting it just like any other headphones. Our Beats and wireless Sony headphones can do the same thing. These are plastic and, again, cheap, so if you’re expecting perfection that’s just not going to happen. These are not $400 headphones. You will not have crystal clear sound but the sound quality is similar to a pair of $100 ones that we own. Yes, they can break but we didn’t have that happen. It’s a light flexible plastic, not a heavy thick plastic. I got them for $21 and I feel like I got my moneys worth completely.
