"The Three Bears Family Counters" are the bears needed for these cards, There are 4 different colors and 3 different sizes, for sorting in small medium and large sequence as well as color sequencing. If you are using the bears for really small children who tend put things in their mouth the smallest bear in this set will be a choke hazard, so they would need to be well supervised when using them. The bears are of a good quality solid not hollow and the colors are bright. We like calling them papa bear, mama bear, and baby bear **Q: What exactly is included? How many cards? How many bears?** A: 15 cards with 30 activities and teaching guide included. Cards are for use with three bear family counters in four colors that you buy separately. **Q: Do you think this would be too easy for a just turned 6 year old that can do basic addition, subtration, multiplication and count to 100? thanks** A: It depends on how you plan on using the kit. If your planning on adjusting the activities to his education level then it would be a good addition. The bears are easily adaptable but the rest if the packet is geared towards those just learning counting, sizes and patterns. For example you could take the pattern cards and had him continue the pattern for 3-4 more times. The colored and numbered die could be used in another board game that usually comes with the dot dice. The spinner can be used in any made up game. The large number cards could have each bear represent 10 and count that way. You just have to be creative. **Q: My son has autism and heΒ΄s still learning the AB pattern. How many cards is as simple as "ABAB" (only one size and only two colors, as the card #1)?** A: There are only 3 cards that have an ABA pattern.
