## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this work to also kill aphids?**
A: I made a tea out of it for fungus gnats and this took care of it.

**Q: is it safe for the pump in water fountains?**
A: I would doubt that would work.  Seems like the bits would clog up the pump.  I use the bits in my potted plants indoors to alleviate gnats etc

**Q: Can these be dissolved in straight from the tap water, or might the chlorine kill the live bacteria?**
A: You're supposed to sprinkle them on the soil, then when you order your plans they activate
If you have chlorine in your water you shouldn't water your plants with it

**Q: How much do you have to use? I feel like i only need a tiny saltshakers worth not a whole bag?**
A: I put some on the surface of my outdoor worm bin and the mosquitos left.  I used a generous sprinkling, but not the whole bag.  The bin had an area of 1.5 x 2 feet.  Your area may be bigger.  Use your judgement, you can always add more if needed.  It isn't toxic.
