This satisfies. - I bought these for my pride and joy - a 1962 Thunderbird. The only time she gets wet is when I wash her in the driveway. I use this towel exclusively for the outside of all the windows and for the vinyl top. I have a separate towel for the painted surfaces. This waffle towel always leaves the windows streak-free, and it pulls up all the water from the vinyl top, which is textured and holds a surprising amount of water. It’s soft, leaves no lint behind, and washes perfectly. If I trust this for my 64 year old baby, you can trust it too. Instead of water hose, I use 2 buckets of water to wash my stone-black 2009 Hyundai Avante(aka Elantra in the US) in a multi-storey carpark. Usually after rinsing the car, the areas that gather most water puddles are the roof, bonnet and trunk. Previously when using cheap microfibre towels, I have to do 3-5 passes on these areas before getting it properly dried.
