For a very reasonable price point, we can assure we are drinking RO water and the refrigerator system is protected from our hard and rusty well water. Assembly was simple as well. As you can see in the photo I included, we mounted the pump box inside a cabinet that is located beside our refrigerator. We ran all wiring for plugging into an electrical outlet through the cabinet by drilling a small hole. The tubing to the refrigerator is done the same way. There is plenty of tubing, wiring and pump hose to install this near the refrigerator. You can hear when the pump kicks on but it is no loader than our countertop ice machine or microwave. It hasn’t bothered anyone in the home. We have a busy home with teens and adults, babies and toddlers and it gets a lot of use daily. I don’t find it cumbersome at all to change out the water jugs. It is a friction only holding device (dose not screw on or clamp on). The rigid wand has a max reach to the bottom of a 5 gallon jug. The wand length is permanent. It changes jug depth by sliding the rigid wand up or down through the stopper. It appears the designers anticipated 3 gallon and 5 gallon jug suitability. The stopper at the top is the only stabilizer for the wand. Therefore the limiting factors are the length of the wand, the size bottle top, and how short the rigid wand can be pulled up into the stopper. **Q: Which dispensers are made in Americ?** A: There are diaphragm pumps made in America and available on Amazon at reasonable cost. The tubing and fittings are also available, made in America. One could rig up their own dispenser. I do not know of any dispenser setup like this, made in America. The 5 gallon water market has been overtaken by the disposable 500ml bottle in North America. With our gargantuan refrigerators easily accommodating full 40 bottle cases. This is not the case in many markets in the far east where refrigerators are small, water from the tap is not trusted and the 5 gallon market remains prominent. **Q: can i connect a bidet?** A: Could you? Yes. Mine is connected to my refrigerator ice maker and to a sink mounted drinking water faucet and works great for both. Should you? Probably not. The flow rate & pressure isn’t huge. The out port is a quarter inch line.
