I’ve always loved the beatnik poet known as Rickie Lee Jones... I’ve always thought the world would discover her like they discovered Joni...but not to be...but the trajectory of her musical impulses are the same..so, I’m glad that I can have her and she hasn’t faded away....a treasure to be sure....I got the album and the song “Bad Company” is worth the 20 bucks....brooding, slow and soaring at the end...Rickie is Bad Company all right.. the 2nd track is My Fathers Gun, an Elton John song, but it remind me of 70’s RLJ......the only song I didn’t like was Nagasaki...it didn’t seem to fit on this record...but I love the album as a whole...never disappoints me...I like growing old with her by my side. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ She can do no wrong. *by O***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020* I am a huge fan of Rickie Lee Jones and have been since day one. She can do no wrong in my eyes.Is this her best CD ever? No, that will always be Pop Pop, in my opinion. If you are not a fan, buy that CD and you will be converted.Most of her CD's are excellent and this one fills the bill for me. Her interpretations of these songs are incredible.
