Cut open the foil pack and use within 1 hour. Apply in small areas—don’t spread over large surfaces before use. Brush Sika FastFix into joints. Fill fully, then compact firmly with a trowel to ensure a solid, lasting finish. Sets in 6–12h above 15°C dry. Allow up to 5 days below 15°C. Rain before full set may soften the product temporarily. Review: Great product - Great product. Application was very easy, i just wet the area let the access was dry up a bit and put the product on. Used a large soft brush when first applying and a smaller soft brush and pointer to fill all the gaps between the blocks with no mess a solid finish. Dried very quickly but the weather was very warm. One thing I would recommend is do small areas at a time this may be a bit more time consuming but it is well worth it as the mix doesn’t dry out as quick. Overall I would recommend this product if used correctly it looks great when finished.
Review: Works well, doesn't require any skill - I needed to re-grout / re-point my patio. Rather than get in a professional, I gave it a go myself with this stuff, and am very happy with the results. The slabs that were wobbling are now secure, it's filled in the gaps that were opening up in the original fixing, which went in seven or eight years ago, and it doesn't seem to have caused any damage to the surfaces of the Indian Sandstone slabs. One note of caution is that, once the sealed bag is open, you have an hour before this begins to set. Fortunately, this 14kg tub contains two bags, so it's not a question of doing it all in one go – but it is important to have the area cleared and cleaned, and any existing loose grout dug out before starting. It then suggests you wet the slabs thoroughly before beginning, to prevent any staining. I did this – and the slabs don't appear to have discoloured. My approach was to pour the powder around two or three slabs at a time, brush that in, and then move on. Once I'd finished the first bag, I ran a pointing trowel over everything to pack it down – though with hindsight, I think a finger may have done a better job. Once finished, the advice is that it may take up to five days to set. I used a stiff broom on it every day for those five days, and got up quite a lot of the residual. That stuff that's left – mostly where the slabs have ridges and hollows – is tough to get off after the five days are up but with a pressure-washer and a broom it gets blasted free after a bit of effort. Now I've got the patio cleaned-up, I'm noticing a few areas I might go over again. I've got about a quarter of a bag left. The advice is that this will stay useful for a month after opening, if you pour it into the tub and then cover it with water. On the whole, I'm very happy with this – and cautiously optimistic it's a job that you can do yourself quite cheaply in comparison to hiring a professional.

**Q: Has anyone used this on porcelain paving slabs?**
A: It works perfectly fine as long as the joint is 5mm or larger. Ensure the paving is damp so the pointing doesn’t stick to the surface

**Q: I bought this and used it on my path which has now set, but need more as it's not high enough and gaps. Can I put more ontop of set Sika??**
A: I did this and it was fine, i just made sure it was well compressed, it has not separated so far after 2 years. It generally does seem to attract moss which nobody has mentioned.

**Q: Can this be used to repoint already pointed Indian sand stone where grouting has come off ..?**
A: You need to rake out all the existing pointing before repointing and push the Sika Fastfix into the open joints with a pointing trowel.

**Q: how many bags will I need to do 120 slabs?**
A: Everything depends on the width and depth of your joints,each box is supposed to do 20 sq metres but I found that I had to buy six bikes to do my 60 sq metres. Expensive but I think worth it for ease of use and hopefully durability.

Great product. Application was very easy, i just wet the area let the access was dry up a bit and put the product on. Used a large soft brush when first applying and a smaller soft brush and pointer to fill all the gaps between the blocks with no mess a solid finish. Dried very quickly but the weather was very warm. The slabs that were wobbling are now secure, it's filled in the gaps that were opening up in the original fixing, which went in seven or eight years ago, and it doesn't seem to have caused any damage to the surfaces of the Indian Sandstone slabs.
