Not brittle and easy to drill cable cutouts and mount. Haven't tested the IP rating as all boxes are either in the garage, habitation area or lockers and not subject to the elements. Comes with a seal which looks like it may be a bit fidly to locate if you did use it. Works for me and seems good value but haven't looked to see if I could save a pound or two with an alternative.
