The TL-12 is designed to sound great when it's plugged in to an amp, PA, or recording rig. Thin body means it's easy to handle when performing, especially if you're singing too. **Q: Is the preamp the tl-3 or tl-6 on the steel string natural?** A: The preamp on my nylon strings guitar is tl-3. **Q: Does this have a solid body underneath the strings to possibly accommodate electric pick ups? Obviously I would have to do some major modifications** A: It is listed as an acoustic/electric so it already has a pickup. The body is not completely hollow like a traditional acoustic. **Q: What brand/guage does it comes?** A: They were putting these on, But manufacturers change from time to time, Just use what you like.
