There are few structures in the United States with the history and reverence of The White House, designed by James Hoban. On July 16, 1792, President George Washington chose this James Hoban design from six competing designs from renowned architects. This six-story Sandstone structure was meant to command respect for the nation from citizens and foreign visitors. Construction took place from 1792 - 1800 and it was rebuilt by Hoban following the fire of 1814. The assembled White House model stands 9" (22 cm) wide on a base with printed name label and includes a booklet with facts about the building, its construction and its history. Review: The Lego White House is a symbol for the country and a source of pride for the child that constructs it. - My grandson has been a Lego fan since he was 5 years old. When an older friend of his brought this White House into school he fell in love with it so my wife and I bought it for his 6th birthday. Since the recommended age was twice his for building this project I was sure that I would be doing most of the construction with him. To my disappointment and surprise he insisted on doing it himself. Studying the pictures in the wordless instruction sheet and comparing the pieces, he was able to replicate the drawings. The assembly of the section that he was working on looked exactly like the illustration in the instruction sheet. 560 pieces later he completed construction without help. The pride and satisfaction on his face when he called us into see it was absolutely priceless. The drawings were simple and broke down the construction into small easily duplicated steps. There was a simple logic to the construction and as the building took shape he became more focussed and patient in his search for the pieces that matched the drawings. Not once did he become frustrated or had major difficulty. Although it is a bit pricey, I would recommend this Lego White House for any child who likes to work alone and enjoys solving puzzles. Review: Perfect first LEGO set for 6-8 year old - This was my 6 year old daughter's first foray into LEGOs. As a kid, I loved LEGOs and spent countless hours with them. We, or I should say I, struggled with what her first set should be as I wanted it to be something recognizable, have enough pieces to be challenging, but not too much so, and also have good instructions so that it would not be frustrating. This kit fit the bill exactly. I was a little hesitant about the 12+ age rating, but I liked the piece count (560) and the looks of the kit as opposed to the others of the architectural series. She did need just a little help with a couple of pieces that do not fit traditionally and it took her several afternoons to complete it, but that was mostly due to getting distracted and moving on to something else. As far as the looks of the White House go, I agree with other reviewers that it is a relatively accurate representation. It isn't impressively sized, but it has a few nice touches. The booklet is nice with some facts about the White House, but that was really just a bonus. I also thought that this set was priced at a good value as far as LEGO sets are concerned. As I said, for my purposes, it was perfect. I highly recommend it. ## Features - Replicate the home to the nation's Head of State using 560 pieces of LEGO - Based on the James Hoban design chosen by President George Washington on July 16, 1792 - Assembled White House model stands 9" (22 cm) wide on a base with printed name label - Includes a booklet with facts about the building, its construction and its history - Recommended Age: 12 + - Architectural replica of the real-world White House - Booklet included with details on design and history (English language only) - Measures 9" (22cm) wide - The assembled White House model stands wide on a base with printed name label - Set contains 560 pieces ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B003U4A12U | | Additional Features | Construction | | Age Range Description | Baby | | Best Sellers Rank | #381,922 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #11,524 in Toy Building Sets | | Brand Name | LEGO | | Color | White | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 791 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Team Building Skills | | Item Dimensions | 10.24 x 2.76 x 7.48 inches | | Item Weight | 0.73 kg | | Manufacturer | LEGO Architecture | | Manufacturer Part Number | 21006 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 12 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | The White House | | Model Number | 21006 | | Model Year | 2012 | | Number of Pieces | 559 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Power Source | battery operated | | Size | One Size | | Sub Brand | Lego | | Subject Character | Lego Architecture | | Target Audience | Boy | | Theme | Video Games | | UPC | 885821135823 572050126882 783318500867 885111081861 673419160148 787799711125 611906266034 013339129816 885194281363 885105838013 673419146616 885832893798 885104239873 787799710364 726088183823 763500660296 885118410480 783329137496 885761881842 885108906047 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![LEGO Architecture White House (21006) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61+5UB1+KaL.jpg) ![LEGO Architecture White House (21006) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61DYndqaYBL.jpg) ![LEGO Architecture White House (21006) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61hEi4WJR3L.jpg) ![LEGO Architecture White House (21006) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CF+VpfTEL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Lego White House is a symbol for the country and a source of pride for the child that constructs it. *by B***B on January 16, 2017* My grandson has been a Lego fan since he was 5 years old. Again I discovered my faux pas and had to go back to correct my mistakes. Again I saw that certain illustrations did not show the true count of spaces to place a piece. Upon inspection in later illustrations it showed I placed the wrong pieces in the wrong place. Again it was my fault for not noticing my mistakes and continuing to build on a faulty foundation Upon learning of my mistakes I had to deconstruct and correct my problems. Again to all reading this, haste does make waste. Going further again I found a problem as I discovered missing pieces. Again I searched the web and requested the missing pieces and unfortunately construction was in abeyance. A week and a half later I received the pieces and 45 minutes later the building was indeed finished. The final product is accurate and of great detail. As an accurate historian I would have liked to have the West Wing added to the structure. I enjoyed constructing this historic piece and will continue to build further pieces in this series. The White House is a very accurate depiction of American architecture. ## Frequently Bought Together - LEGO Architecture White House (21006) - LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty 21042 Model Building Set - Collectible New York City Souvenir, Creative Home DΓ©cor or Office Centerpiece, Great Gift Idea for Adults and Teens - LEGO Architecture 21030 United States Capitol Building Kit (1032 Pieces) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/1338341-lego-architecture-white-house-21006](https://www.desertcart.at/products/1338341-lego-architecture-white-house-21006) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
