## Description

Some of you may know me as the Merc with the Mouth. And it’s time to get mouthy. Prepare to get Deadpooled – That’s right, just got real; Couple things I’d like to get off my chest: I’m a mercenary for hire with an accelerated healing factor. I like to run my mouth. Some say I’m unstable but I’m very stable. (Yep, totally stable) (What about that time we beat the dude with his own arms?) (That doesn’t count) And if you want to know what gets me going in the mornings, it’s chimichangas (Mmmmm Chimichangas) WHOA, I feel better now. All right. I’m gonna battle for the safety of humans (and bewbs ) and mutants (and bewbs )

Review: IF I CUT YOU, DO YOU NOT BLEED - First and foremost, this is NOT a game for children. The cover could deceive some in thinking its safe for kids, but it is mark "Mature" for a reason. Now on to the game review - which this game took a very different and welcomed approach for a third person action game. The concept of having the character you control actually interact with you is pretty damn cool. I'm on the very last mission and I can tell you that you will enjoy this game if you like crude humor and some damn cool bloody violence in your super hero games. I laughed out loud several times playing this game. This is not a serious game and shouldn't be taken seriously either as the premise is that it is a game. Dead Pool himself reminds you of that often throughout the game. You use Dead Pool points in order to build up your health, strength, get different combos, and purchase different weapons. You will find that a bear trap, yes - bear traps, will come in very handy when fighting bosses and I recommend get them early. Also, a well planted mine will help big time when dealing with the "clones" because if enough of them get close to you and they explode, well you're dead. Throwing a mine out as they are chasing you will do the trick exploding every one of them within range though. If you are a Marvel fan you will find the cameos really cool, from Cable, Wolverine, to Rogue along with a few others. The game does somewhat get repetitive, but not enough to bore you. High Moon Studios did a good job with changing things up for the player. I found myself wanting some more of the repetitive waves of baddies coming after me just to try out the new stuff I upgraded. Now, the camera angle at times can be your worst enemy as you will get in spots where you can't even see yourself or your opponent. In these cases you will just have to run out into a more open area or you fall to your death due to the camera angle. All in all this is a very cool, rude, crude, uncouth, and violent good time. If you are not familiar with Dead Pool just look up "Dead Pool in three minutes" on YouTube and you can get the quick down and dirty on him before you start your game. What do you call the sound of a robotic arm clapping? - Dubstep.
Review: Merc with a Mouth was MADE for video games - Honestly, playing this game was a fantastic experience for this Deadpool fan. The controls are easy and mostly intuitive. (switching blades, throwables, and guns was a little tricky but it's forgivable). The combat is visceral and satisfying. And there's a way to change the over the shoulder camera angle between left and right shoulder. It's a sweet feature and helps when running from explosives. But what makes this game different from any of the Marvel games that I've played was the aesthetics. Let me explain that a bit. This game isn't really deep or philosophical. But you don't read Deadpool comics because they're deep and philosophical. You read them because they're action packed, funny, off the wall, and full of 4th wall breaks. And the game delivers that in SPADES. Deadpool yells at you when you die, calls up the game developer to berate him and ask why this part of the Deadpool game is sucking), and has insanely funny quips when fighting. There are cut scenes where you can learn about other Marvel characters, but it's Deadpool telling you about them (in his own words). Also when searching some things, there are shout outs to different Deadpool comic stories. The atmosphere is very Deadpool and the voices in Deadpool's head have their own bubbles/fonts as well as unique voices. The game was made for lovers of Deadpool. If you don't know who Deadpool is then I don't recommend that you get this game. I mean, it's a competent action game. But it's nothing spectacular to write home about. The levels are generic. Sewers, busted buildings, and office spaces. The action buttons are also very standard/generic as well (light attack, heavy attack, jump and dodge). The developer put it's focus and effort where it belongs. Wade Wilson. The game shines (like a bajillion sticks of dynamite exploding) in delivering all that we love about the Merc With a Mouth. CHIMICHANGAS!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ THIS GAME IS OKAY AT SOME POINT SO DON'T HAVE TO HIGH EXPACTIONS. A PRETTY GOOD ATTEMPT.
*by B***D on October 28, 2015*

AN OKAY GAME, PRETTY GOOD GAMEPLAY FROM TIME TO TIME CAN GET A LITTLE ANNOYING BECASUE OF THE CAMERA PRETTY GOOD STORY, A GREAT DEPECTION OF THE DEADPOOL CHARCTER AND TO HAVE HIM HAVE HIS OWN GAME AND MOVIE WHICH COMES OUT LATER WHICH I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE. IT IS VERY ENTERTAING BY MAKING IT FUNNY WITH ALL THE HUMOR THAT IS THROWN INTO THE GAME YOU CAN SEE THAT THE DEVLOPERS TRIED THERE HARDEST TO PORTAY THE DEADPOOL CHARCTER. ALSO NOT TRYNG TO SPOIL IT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVENT PLAYED IT YET BUT THERE ARE SOME COOL CAMEOS FROM OTHER MARVEL. I GIVE THIS GAME A 7.5/10 AN OKAY GAME TO GET BUT TRY TO GET IT FOR A LOW PRICE I GOT IT FOR AROUND 18 DOLLARS AND THINK IT IS WORTH AROUND THE 20 DOLLAR PRICE RANGE.
