I have always had a tendency for slumped posture.The chic shaper is constant reminder to stand straight. It is unnoticeable under clothes. I wear mine across my breast instead of under to keep me from looking too voluptuous .So many teenage girls w sloped shoulders—— I just want to tell their Mom’s to straighten their daughters up, it will give them more self esteem! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was hesitant but surprised *by S***C on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2011* I was super hesitant when I bought this partially due to a lot of the reviews I read. Here is my run down:1) Order a size larger than you think you would. I took this recommendation from other reviews and it is very true. I'll give you my stats for comparison: 5'8, 195, 36DDD. I ordered a Large, it fits perfectly! *According to the size chart I should be a medium...def wouldn't work for me in a medium.2) This lifts the ladies up for sure. I'm 31 and my girl haven't sat this high since I was 18, makes me feel younger and perkier. :-P3) Here's the deal. You have to remember two things when it comes to buying products like this:A) This is in a under bra form. It is going to push up your boobs, not going to avoid that.B) This is in a bra form. This is not going to sit in a way that is going to completely pull your shoulders back...and it is slightly stretchy.C) Your posture isn't great, by even considering buying this for posture support you are admitting that (I do). The muscles in your back are not used to be "upright", you will be sore for a few days at the least while they adjusting to standing/sitting up straight. So do not be surprised in the least when you are sore.Here is the deal with my opinion on this item:Did it pull my shoulders back? I'm not so sure. Did it lift my breasts up? Yes. Did I find myself standing and sitting up straighter while I have this on? YES.The way this sits across your back you feel it and for me it was a subtle but constant reminder of my stance. This also has a good two inch band under your breasts. If you are like myself and overweight when you aren't standing or sitting straight up you can practically feel the underwire in your bra...you definitely feel the hook are on your skin. Let me clarify: Not in a ugh all day I feel it and its uncomfortable way, in a I'm not in the right position and its rolling and digging kind of way: which makes you adjust your position.I recommend that while getting used to wearing this you wear it one day, then take a day or two off, then wear it again and try for two days...It is going to be babysteps, you won't be able to wear this every day from day one.I feel like it helps but I am not positive it will work for everyone. I have large breasts. I feel like the way this lifts them up helps take some of the pressure of holding them up off of my back. The feel of the back material on my skin helps me think of my posture more frequently, but I think I'll get used to it and stop noticing it.If you are looking for a perfect cure all I do not think you will find one.
