Review: Fantastic Replacement PTO drive! - I have a Frontier 60 in. finish mower with a bent PTO drive that would not extend in order to connect. I looked at the John Deere part and it was twice as expensive as this one so I was hesitant. I bought this and the quality and fit are just as good if not better than the original, it works perfectly and have already mowed 4 acres without an issue! Very happy with it!!!!

**Q: What is shortest lengh and full pulled lengh of this**
A: It was about 38" collapsed and comes apart at about 72" It is usually recommended that at least 6" of the shaft is always together, so I think I would be comfortable with a max. extended running length of 68" I actually had to shorten the shaft I purchased to use on my 3pt. snowblower. **Q: Will this fit a john deere 509 rotary cutter and john deere 2040 tractor? if not can you direct me to the part that will work?**
A: One end should fit the tractor. The cutter end depends on what’s coming out of the cutter gear box, could be splined or straight

**Q: What is the length of this when it is extended?**
A: The description says it is 37" long - LOA
The box is 39" long (also in the description)

Very impressed with the initial product after receiving it. Easily modified to the required length for my application. A decent owners manual also was included along with the pto shaft. It was half the cost of the OEM part.
