Review: A banger. - Excellent. Tall. The bulb container at the top (unmovable) pointing to the ceiling, the second one (a little below) on a movable-arm pointing in any direction you want. The base is sturdy, heavy, and not wobbly, unlike the previous one I ordered and had to return. The shades are cute and easy to install: it requires to unscrew the rim of the bulb container, insert the shade, screw back the rim, then insert the light bulb. Easy peasy, and putting it together was easy too; mind you that I'm in my 70s with mild shaking hands. I'm using the stand without the shades, I think the light extends better. I must confess I'm not connecting this to the outlet, not yet: I'll be using it for usb rechargeable bulbs. I'm testing how low my electric bill will be if I use ONLY those bulbs in the living room and bedroom. ConEdison (NYC) is killing me! I have enough bulbs to use daily after sunset and recharge them when I go to bed. It's working so far, using ONE bulb a night (7-8hrs) in the bedroom. Last month bill showed a dramatic fall in the consumption graphic after having been using the bulbs for only the last week of December. Wish me good luck!! Buy this product. It's worth the price. Review: 💡A simple yet perfect, inexpensive floor lamp!💡 - 💡All I wanted was a simple, inexpensive floor lamp for my spare bedroom; and this is it! Super ease to assemble (Although I suggest you make sure you keep pulling cord from base of the lamp so there is no slack while assembling [as mentioned in instructions]; otherwise you might have troubles screwing in the lamp post pieces straight.) 💡The base of the lamp isn't bad assemble correctly and tighten all parts, and place in a corner if you have rowdy kids and pets and no issues there because this will all help to prevent tip-overs, which I like. (It does not come with a remote control though so keep that in mind.) The lamp comes really well packed, too! I purchased foy my daughters bedroom. It doesn't seem to get really hot and nor does it give off a hot heat level if kept on. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why people are returning these lights. To me, this has been an absolute steal, and are overall excellent! So, please keep returning them so I can keep buying them at the lower price because I need three more. One for my dining room and one each for my two extra bedrooms. If you are on the fence… you need to buy this lamp. This light is absolutely excellent; a steal for resale price or even at regular price this is a steal. 💡Perfect lamp for me! Don’t listen to the negative views on this lamp. Buy this this lamp, it’s a great price for a good lamp. I could not ask for a better one at this price. In terms of a plastic shade, this is a good solid plastic. And if you don’t touch it, you don’t even know it’s plastic and is very appealing when it comes to how it looks. Its makes visibility in my daughters room perfect now. This lamp is on carpet and not shaky. I don’t expect it to fall. 💡This is a very good buy for me. That’s why I purchased a second one. No, I’m not a competitor or a paid reviewer. It's just another desertcart shopper. A pleased one!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ## Features - AMBIENT & TASK LIGHTING: Torchiere uplight fills rooms with soft illumination, while adjustable reading arm targets specific areas for work, reading, or relaxing. - MODERN MINIMALIST STYLE: Matte black frame and clean lines pair easily with contemporary, transitional, or industrial interiors. - ADJUSTABLE READING ARM: Pivoting reading light provides customizable direction for reading, working, or relaxing. - INDEPENDENT SWITCH CONTROLS: Separate switches let you operate the torchiere and reading light individually, while a 5-foot cord allows for versatile placement. - BULB COMPATIBILITY: Torchiere requires 1x E26 Medium Base Bulb (150W), Reading lamp requires 1x E26 Medium Base Bulb (40W) - both bulbs sold separately; supports LED, incandescent, or smart bulbs. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07R6357FM | | Additional Features | Dimmable | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Base Diameter | 10 inches | | Base Material | Plastic | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,418 in Our Brands ( See Top 100 in Our Brands ) #18 in Floor Lamps | | Brand Name | Globe Electric | | Bulb Base | E26 | | Bulb Shape Size | B11 | | Color | White | | Connectivity Technology | Normal bulb | | Control Method | Touch | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 9,087 Reviews | | Finish Type | Matte | | Finish Types | Matte | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00058219571361, 00058219671368 | | Included Components | Lamp;Lamp Shade;Instruction Sheet | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Installation Type | Freestanding | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 10"D x 10"W x 72.88"H | | Item Type Name | Globe Electric 67136 Delilah 72" Torchiere Floor Lamp + Adjustable Reading Light, Matte White, Frosted Plastic Shade, 3-Step Rotary Switch on Floor Lamp Socket, Rotary On/Off Switch | | Item Weight | 7 pounds | | Lamp Type | Floor Lamp | | Light Source Type | Incandescent | | Lighting Method | LED | | Manufacturer | Globe Electric | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No warranty. | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | 67136 | | Mounting Type | Floor Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Light Sources | 2 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product Dimensions | 10"D x 10"W x 72.88"H | | Recommended Uses For Product | Office,Residential,Home | | Room Type | Dorm Room, Kids Room | | Shade Color | White | | Shade Height | 4.75 inches | | Shade Material | Plastic | | Shape | Cylindrical | | Style Name | Without Bulb | | Switch Type | Rotary | | UPC | 058219671368 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 120 volts | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Wattage | 150 watts | ## Product Details - **Base Material:** Plastic - **Bulb Base:** E26 - **Finish Type:** Matte - **Item Weight:** 7 pounds - **Product Dimensions:** 10"D x 10"W x 72.88"H ## Images ![67136 72" Torchiere Floor Lamp with Adjustable Reading Light, Matte White Finish, Frosted Shades, Rotary Switch on Socket, E26 Base - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41AsYzPm6+L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A banger. *by S***N on January 16, 2026* Excellent. It is plain and simple in style transcending many different tastes just the way I like things. Mine was white with touches of gray ( to resemble chrome, I guess) and it just "sinks" into my walls. I like that too. The lights are bright. The materials are metal and plastic, but to my eyes, does not look cheap. There are a couple of concerns.. I found the base, while weighted, was a little small to hold such a tall lamp. I did secure it to my wall so that the children couldn't knock it over. A household without small children or pets would probably not have to do that. Now for my misgivings... It was missing the switch for the top lamp so I sent an email off to the company. Over a week went by and ...nothing. I realize they probably were busy but I still think time was wasted. Then I got a response from Customer Service requesting everything but my blood type and first born son!! It was also VERY annoying that I had to sign into their website to read the email. I wonder if they know responses can be made directly on the original email...as it SHOULD be. All this for something that probably costs a whole penny!. I understand that they don't want fraudulent claims, but who in the world would go to all the trouble to find the company to email for a simple switch? Anyway, I did go to town to the lighting store and a very kind saleswoman just gave me a switch. Lamp is working fine now. To summarize, I like the lamp, the value is there, but the effort was more than I am willing to spend on something so very tiny. It might not disturb others, but it did me. ## Frequently Bought Together - GLOBE Electric 67136 72" Torchiere Floor Lamp with Adjustable Reading Light, Matte White Finish, Frosted Shades, Rotary Switch on Socket, E26 Base - LED Light Bulbs, 100 Watt Equivalent A19, 13W 5000K Daylight White 1500 Lumens Non-Dimmable Bright E26 Edison Medium Screw Bulbs for Home Bedroom Kitchen Living Room Office Lamp, 4-Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/136550441-67136-72-torchiere-floor-lamp-with-adjustable-reading-light-matte](https://www.desertcart.at/products/136550441-67136-72-torchiere-floor-lamp-with-adjustable-reading-light-matte) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
