## Overview

The Mr. Tuffy Bicycle Tire Liner is a lightweight, thorn-resistant liner designed to protect tubeless tires without adding bulk or risking damage. Easy to install with no messy adhesives, it’s eco-friendly, reusable, and highly rated by thousands of cyclists seeking reliable puncture protection.

## Description

Made of durable, lightweight urethane, Mr. Tuffy provides a protective layer between the outer tire and inner tube. Urethane has a property which makes it very elastic. When a thorn or piece of glass attempts to penetrate the Mr. Tuffy liner it comes up against a surface that is both hard and elastic. The object pushes against the surface which gives way while resisting initial penetration.

Review: Works flawlessly on 2 bikes - I use the on two 20” wheel bikes. Each has a combination of tpu and rubber tubes. They are 1.95” fold style tires. They installed with zero issues. Since there was about a foot overlap, I trimmed them to be more like 2” overlap. RECOMMENDATION: Don’t use with already puncture resistant tubes as there might be too much material between the tube and the road causing a bulbous effect. Also if getting new tires for these get thin foldable kinds. The problem is with wire bead types and ones already puncture resistant, adding these means there is going to be LOT of material in there causing the bulbous feel, and very hard to get the tire on/off. These are installed on just very thin foldable tires and the tire went on very easily and the road feel is even better than without - feels more stable and better dampening. Nothing has penetrated them in one full year.
Review: Works well - It is easy to use. And protect my tire!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this for one tire or 2? I have a 24 inch mountain bike that needs fortification against goathead stickers, anyone have any experience with those?.**
A: I bought the 700c size for my road bike, as sold they were for 2 tires, 1 for the front tire and 1 for the rear, make sure to buy the correct size for your tire size

**Q: would it be better to get one where the maximum width is 700x32 or 700x32 is the smallest width?**
A: I would probably get 32 as the smallest. It will go up the shoulder of your tire. But it will also be heavier, as long as you are ok with that.

**Q: for a mtb 27.5x1.75/2.35 what size should buy?**
A: You will buy the appropriate width in a 29"

**Q: Will these work with smart tire tube sealent?**
A: In a tubeless tire, you mean?
I wouldn’t think it necessary.
It would certainly be a mess when removing the tire.

It is easy to use. And protect my tire!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tube protector

Haven't got a flat since I installed them. Probably would be easier to install and keep in place if they had an adhesive backing.
