It came with instruction. Thought it looked sturdy, to make sure its waterproof resistant, I did a submersion test. I tested in the bathtub, but I forgot about it so much that it stayed in the bathtub for one night. When I found it the next day and opened it, there was no drop of water inside. This is amazing.I takes great photos and video through the case.It is definitely waterproof. Below is a screen shot of fish from a video we recorded while snorkeling and some pics we took on the beach. The picture and video still looked fantastic. Love this case.
