But I did vacuum daily and mop every 2 days. You can use it on furniture but I would suggest you only use around hidden areas (underneath cushions or seat) as fleas do not live on the exposed areas. But vacuum those as well. Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum is the key as well as using a preventative in your pets! **Q: Do you use a mask to prevent inhaling chemicals?** A: You should use a mask when applying this. Precore 2000 is what our professional pest control company used for a flea infestation in carpet. He wore a mask and goggles.
