It’s very sturdy, fits within the space perfectly and folds into the frame. For the price it was a great mod. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great looking and solid upgrade *by F***R on June 26, 2024* I put this on my 24 foot cruiser which Originally had an under surface mount 2 step ladder. It was a hook design so I wasn't sure this would work, but the frame of this ladder mounts almost perfectly underneath my swim platform. it looks great it's sturdy and it has an extra step so it's going to be good in the water. The early reviews complaining about the Velcro apparently they have upgraded and have a rubber strap which is a very nice addition because my old ladder did not have it it would just telescope in and that was it It did come with 8 fat wood screws but I elected to use my original 8 through screw and bolt to make it extra sturdy.
