I had a professional install it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Programmable Pentair pool pump *by L***Y on January 5, 2025* This pump was used for my swimming pool and it is quite exceptional, allowing for multiple programs and therefore multiple speeds which means you can’t control how much noise is coming from the pump and the flow of water to the pool ### ⭐ Failed Shaft Seal After One Year *by A***R on May 20, 2024* I bought this pump a year ago to replace our old Pentair pump that had some electrical issues come up. The pump worked well during the first season but by the second season the shaft seal was leaking already. I do not expect a pump at this price point and that has not run dry to have a failed shaft seal within a year. During the repair, it looked like the silicone adhesive from the factory was applied sloppily. The warranty on the pump is very short and limited which is a shame as this appears to clearly be an issue from the factory.
