And it makes it easier because you can use the same brush and switch colors back and forth during makeup application so that you then only have to wash a few brushes. Or for those of you who don't have a lot of brushes then it makes the same brush reusable with out running the risk of getting a darker color where you don't want it! I also like that the middle has a spot for water so you can wet your brush for wet shadow application!
