There is a definite darkening of the screen when viewed directly, and the side-view darkening ONLY occurs at an extreme angle. The non-transparent edges of this protector look like the black paint is chipping away.I thought I'd be getting a slightly better quality screen protector by paying $10 for only one (1) protector, rather than two (2). ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good.
